GORGEOUS COLOR! BRAIN AGE NOT A DEMO GAME!5
My husband grabbed this for me as an early Christmas gift. I'm addicted to Brain Age (which is the FULL game!) While visiting my Mom she fell in love too & said she's going to get one. The case it comes with is just to CHA-CHA for words; holds 3 games & an extra stylus. I'm typically a "pink" kinda gal but I have to say this color is just too amazingly beautiful. The images don't do it any justice.

Love it, Love it, LOVE IT!!!

A good price but the Brain age came is a demo1
I agree with all of the previous comments. The machine is an attractive
color, the travel case is a bit on the "girlee" side and the extra stylus is a bonus. I do feel ripped off slightly because the Brain Age game is a demo. No where in the advertising does it say that. I wonder if the Mario game that comes with that combo is also a demo?

Fantastic DS Lite, Okay Case5
When I first saw this ice blue DS lite, I immediately fell in love with it. The color is gorgeous, and the interior is the exact same color. The front of the DS looks glossy, and very cool.

The case is okay, though. The outer is a bit plastic-y, and the case is a little stiff-pretty bulky for a case. It comes with three slots to put in your games(convenient!), but the space where you put your DS in is basically a black velvety fabric rectangle where you can put your DS lite in. If you're on the go, I would suggest buying a smaller, lighter case, from Circuit City or something else online. When I try closing the case, there's only a small metallic button push-in which is kind of hard, because you almost have to push it in.

However, I still thought it was a great deal, because I bought it when it was 10% off, and the DS Lite is simply amazing. Brain Age comes with it too. Although I rather have the Super Mario Brothers Game, Brain Age is a good, mind game which you might as well get with the package anyway.

Overall Value of Package: A-

Who would I reccomend it to? Anyone who wants a nice, pretty-colored DS. I'm pretty sure most girls would prefer this, at least after the pink one. Guys might not like this one as much as the blue, red, or black ones, but some will.

Brain Age: Train Your Brain in Minutes a Day is inspired by research conducted by Professor Ryuta Kawashima, a prominent Japanese neuroscientist. His theories revolve around keeping your brain “young” by performing certain mental activities quickly. Work that brain! The title is a series of minigames designed to give your brain a workout. Activities include performing simply math problems, counting people going in and out of a house, drawing pictures on the Touch Screen, and reading classic literature out loud. When you start a new game, you will take a series of testes and get a score that shows your “DS Brain Age. As you use the software, your in-game Brain Age will drop. Check on family and friends. You can keep up to four save files on one Game Card – sharing a game allows you to compare your results with those of family and friends. (You might even get a look at one of their pictures!) You can also send a demo version of the title to friends or compete with up to 16 players in a battle to see who can solve math problems the fastest! (Both downloadable modes are local wireless only, not on the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection).

Not worth the price 2
This item worked great - for about a month. For this price I would expect it to last longer but it has stopped charging the batteris even though the light tunrs green as if it is fully charged (how annoying is that when you go to play thinking the remote is charged & it's not!). My friend has the same system & the same problem so I know it is not a fluke. I suggest buying something cheaper, or as another posted suggested, rechargeable batteries.

wii charge station5
its nykko it works great and never has failed me and form fitting to remote

Great chargers as not to use battery power any more.5
Much better than batteries, however, the units are sometimes a pain to try to get in to charge. The outer shell has to be lifted and even then it is sometimes trial and error. I would recommend them just to save battery life and changing of batteries on a daily basis.

Gears of War 2

Gears of War 2

Have a nice time i find Gears of War 2 I will think This Interesting ,and you can see that

From a Casual Player5
This game is amazing in a scale from 1-10:

Graphics: 11+
Sound (voices): 11+
Fun Factor: 10 (Insane level can be very tough on you)
Length: 10 (It's OK)
Difficulty: Depends on you :)

I played GOW 1 about 4-5 times, and playing GOW 2 made this experience fulfilling, the story even though is not that robust, is very appropriate for the game. At the end when you are kicking your enemy's morale, the last thing you care is the story. But again: the story is good, and I did enjoy it.
Boss fights were present but as always requires thinking in terms of how to destroy a huge nasty monster. My recommendation: Do not look for guides, go ahead and figure it out on your own it's a lot better this way.
I have played two rounds already (going my third in co-op mode) and I have to admit, that you can enjoy this game a lot more if you play with a friend. If you do this, make sure to play in Hardcore Mode, normal won't be that challenging in co-op mode.
This game is immersive and you'll be looking for time to finish the next Act. Really: You won't regret this buy!

Gears 2 is Great5
If you loved the first Gears, you will love this one as well. The multiplayer coop and Horde modes are fantastic and will keep you and your friends busy for hours. The story mode was fun as well, but the story somewhat confused me and I hope it gets wrapped up well in the 3rd game. I felt alot of the content in the story and story mode play were lifted from Halo, but not enough to get your panties in a bunch over. If you are looking for some mindless, violent fun, this is the game for you.

A great game when it sticks to what it knows.4
The light mass bomb has been delivered. The bomb was supposed to send the locust on the run. Instead it has made them more (desperate?) aggressive and they are pressing ever closer to the last remaining human stronghold, Jacinto. Enter Delta squad fresh from delivering the Light Mass bomb to the Locust base, Marcus Fenix and his friend Dom where hoping for a little R&R (in Dom's case more time to hunt for his missing wife), instead they get stuck with training Delta's newest recruit. Things quickly go from bad to worse as the training exercise turns into a trial by fire as the locust launch a surprise attack on Jacinto and have to be chased out by the COG army. This attack prompts COG command to launch a counter attack while they still have the upper hand in the aftermath of the light mass bomb. Guess which squad gets to be the tip of the spear.....
-------
I liked this game when it was being the game I wanted to play. Which was the tactical game where the player has to make good use of cover to take out the opposing locust forces. The first game did a good job of this and generally made sure that the player had to use a little bit of strategy to pick off the opposing force so that the player could move forward foot by hard earned foot until the enemy could be flanked and eliminated. This game does that too.... when its not making me want to throw the controller across the room because the developers for some reason decided that they would make just about every other act some kind of rail shooter or puzzle level. Yes I get this was done for co-op and this is probably fun if you have someone to play through the whole game with either on your couch or online. But if like me, you are unable to do this (I play late at night) for whatever reason, then you will be stuck with the semi bright AI that tends to get confused with the simple things like heal fallen comrades, stay in cover and generally be more of a help than a hindrance. Other than some design decisions that I disagree with the game does move along at a pretty good clip and made me want to keep playing. The story is standard video game but, I guess the developer is trying to get on the Halo bus by making it deeper and more complicated (emphasis on complicated). If you've read a lot of Sci-Fi then you can sort of fill in the blanks yourself. Other than that it probably is better to wait for the next game or read the GOW books that are coming out to make it make sense. Online multiplayer (what I played of it) is fun and is an improvement over the original. Besides the Co-op through the story and the standard multiplayer modes there is a new mode called horde which requires players to fend off an ever increasing wave of enemies. Last but not least in the eyes of many (myself not included) the graphics are great, the characters don't fall into the uncanny valley and stuff blows up real good. I would recommend this game to anyone who liked the first one, those that like to play through games in co-op and those that like sci-fi based action/adventure tactical shooters. M.a.c
Graphics: Great. No uncanny valley, semi destructible cover. Stuff blows up good.
Story: Its like reading book 3 in a 5 book series. You'll get why they are doing what they are doing, but your not real sure how the got there. Kinda like the first game, it just moves the game along so you can shoot more stuff.
Game Play: When the game wasn't breaking up the flow with annoying puzzle levels or rail shooters it did a good job of making me want to keep playing to the end. My only other complaint is that sometimes it is not exactly obvious where your supposed to go. If I am wandering around for five minutes a nice arrow or hey stupid over here would be nice.
Camera/Controls: Worked good for me. No cameral issues. No throw the controller across the room moments.

Call of Duty: World at War

Call of Duty: World at War

We are interested in Call of Duty: World at War I will think This Interesting ,and you can see that

Customer Shopping BuZZ

The new shooter template...4
Put simply, if you liked COD4, you will like COD:WOW.

As long as you realize ww2 weapons weren't as powerful or had as many bullets as modern weapons, you will be fine. It's not as groundbreaking as COD4 was in terms of multiplayer gameplay and replayability, but at the same time it doesn't need to be since COD4 redefined everything so well for this genre. All the perks and weapon upgrades are here for you to unlock as you level up with some tweaks, the most notable being the dogs you can call in to maim the opposition instead of a deadly chopper.

Singleplayer is also as good as any previous COD, I recommend it especially for ww2 fans as it explores pacific island warfare and eastern front confrontations not given as much pub in previous games. The history is there and the storyline in interesting. Voice acting seems fine with Kiefer Sutherland providing the voice for the head marine. Nothing better than Jack Bauer shouting approval when you reach a new checkpoint and burn out a gun nest with your flamethrower!

BONUS: By now you've heard of the unlockable Nazi Zombies level. When played with a group of friends, it is an addictive and fun addition. An excellent extra and one of my favorite parts of this game!

I can see this becoming the Madden franchise of online shooters - and as long as they don't rush one out every single year, Call of Duty can remain the standard by which all others are judged for some time.

If you liked CoD 4...4
Disclaimer: I'm a dad, I play when I get a spare hour, and I'm really bad at video games.

At first, I didn't like this game very much. I thought it wasn't up to the level of CoD 4, which is one of the few games I own. After a while, though, I found myself staying up a little while later to play it and found one key thing:

This game shouldn't be directly compared to COD4. It's a game in it's own right, with it's own story and feel. I expected COD4 1/2 I guess. But this game is a lot of fun when you play it as itself.

The multiplayer is pretty fun, with a lot of opportunity to gain experience. Gaining levels to access weapons is pretty quick. I usually get 2 kills to every 14 deaths, but even I have fun. Frustrating, but fun.

The achievements in the campaign are (for me) pretty difficult. After beating the campaign I am now focusing on trying to get them, and it's challenging.

This is a good game, lots of fun, and some good history involved also. Good graphics and difficulty level for a n00b like myself and I can see that it would probably be good for a hardcore gamer also.

A huge improvement over Call of Duty 3!5
Last year's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare delivered an awesome and varied single-player experience that was matched with an even better multiplayer suite, and it made for some really big shoes for Call of Duty: World at War to fill. There's a solid single-player campaign, co-op play, a huge multiplayer suite, and even a fun, silly mode featuring zombies. Instead of serving up Normandy and D-Day for what would have been the umpteenth time for World War II shooters, the game covers the island hopping campaign in the Pacific as well as the Red Army's reversal of the tide at Stalingrad all the way to the Fall of Berlin. This provides some interesting new battlefields set on sun-bleached coral atolls in the Pacific.

There are plenty of deafening, large-scale set-piece battles, but there's also variation to change things up but remains a Call of Duty game through and through. What that means is that the action is fast and fluid, as well as rigidly scripted. The success of the franchise proves that there's a vast audience for that, and this won't change anyone's mind.

The campaign does suffer a bit due to its broad scope; the narrative skips over months at a time, showcasing the major battles of the war. The result is that the sense of story doesn't seem as strong as it did in Modern Warfare. Modern Warfare had the advantage of a fictionalized story with plenty of shocking twists and turns.

All told, the single-player campaign is about as short as that in Modern Warfare, but it doesn't drag on. Plus, there's considerably more replayability here because the bulk of the campaign is playable in cooperative mode with up to three other players. Multiplayer is definitely an area where World at War shines. Modern Warfare had arguably one of the greatest multiplayer suites in recent history, and World at War builds on it. There remains the create-a-class and rank system that lets you unlock perks, weapons, and upgrades that you can then mix-and-match to create different load outs.

It's easy to be jaded about World War II shooters, but Treyarch makes a convincing argument to stay excited with World at War. The game is packed with a deep amount of gameplay to appeal to every type of player, from those who want to experience a gritty single-player campaign to those who like to play with their friends to those who just like to play multiplayer. This is a solid, confident shooter with plenty to offer the casual and hardcore alike.

Wii Music

Wii Music

Now I find Wii Music Yes, I think that interesting .

Customer Shopping BuZZ

Boring2
This is no fun game, and the music there is old. I dont have anything against old music, but I think it should've include both old and new. The only goold thing I found in this game is that my kids learned different kinds of instruments

Good overall for music knowledge4
I think the biggest issue people getting this game is they think it's like Guitar Hero or Rock Band. If that's what your looking for then move on, you'll be disappointed. Now if your looking for something that will teach you a little bit about music styles, pitch, instruments, etc, then this is a decent learning tool that can be pretty fun. And if you have a Wii Fit and want to learn a bit of drumming then it will connect with your Fit board to give you foot control of a bass drum and hi hats.

My only complaint of the game is, ironically, there isn't enough music to play with. It would be nice if they had a lot more "modern" songs to play with. Now when you first start there is very little and as you do lessons and games you unlock more and more instruments and songs. This can also be a pain for someone starting off that gets in and can't go play 50 different songs off the bat. But on the flip side if you take the time to actually go through and learn the different music styles you will unlock all the extra stuff. Just would be nice to have a lot more modern songs (Pop/Rock/etc) then the selection in the game. All in all though it's a good game to learn about music and inspire some creativity.

Much better choices out there for your money - what a stinker1
WiiMusic would have been great as a WiiWare download or a budget priced disc game. As a full-priced game, when you compare Wii Music to any other Nintendo-produced title, the value just isn't there. When the same amount of money gets you a game like Mario Galaxy or Metroid Prime it's hard to swallow this premium-priced game.

Pay careful attention to the commercial - because what you see is what you get. You waggle the remotes around to (mostly) Nintendo tunes. There are more instruments than tunes, so they get tired pretty quickly (especially since not all are available at the start anyway). People say you cannot compare this to other rythum games; a hearty yes to that, even the Hannah Montana game is more complicated than this.

If your family just wants to sit around waggling the remotes around and hearing music come out, I suppose it could be fun. It's more akin to a display in a store or museum where it's a fun distraction for 2-3 minutes but then the novelty wears out.

Do yourself a favor - buy your kid a harmonica or electric keyboard or other small instrument instead. They will be learning how to make real music and not just waving the remote around to marginally impact the music. There are such better buys for your money - I love Nintendo, but this game is a stinker.

Revisting The DS Lite5
Since Nintendo orignally came out with the Nintendo DS back in 2004, it fully brought in a whole new way we play video games on the go. Since then, gamers everywhere have been rejoyced with with video games that have been now recognized as classics like Super Mario 64 DS, the addictive puzzle game Meteos, and the addictive mental challenge of Brain Age. But, there have been also a lot of great bundle packs that also have been made like back in 2005, when the original DS was made with the fast and furiousness of Mario Kart DS. But that also could in 2006 when Nintendo remade the DS, into the popular DS Lite, which also delivers top notch gameplay, and the ability to play against other gamers online. Now, just in time for the holidays, a pair of special Nintendo DS Lite bundle packs have been made to make your favorite gamer happy on the go.

The new Nintendo DS Lite in a limited edition Red is a sleek and conveint system that is specially designed for hard core Nintendo fans everywhere of their favorite plumber, Mario, with the classic M cap design on the DS Lite. The bundle pack also includes the widely-popular and addictive New Super Mario Brothers which was released back in 2006. The game is one of the most challenging and welcomed games released for the DS library, and returns with Mario going back to his 2-D side-scrolling roots, as he goes all out trying to rescue Peach a.k.a. Princess Toadstool from the clutches of Bowser and Bowser Jr. The game is not just fun and entertaining, but also includes new challenges and power-ups that are addictive including the mega-mushroom which can turn Mario into a giant, and the specialy turtle shell, which can make mario turn move like the koopa troopas he used to throw to knock his foes out cold. The game is fun and is beautiful in not just the graphics, but the gameplay as well.

While die hard Nintendo DS gamers are anxiously awaiting the upcoming release of the new Nintendo DSI which will be coming out sometime in 2009, they'll just have to do with the Nintendo DS Lite in the meantime. Also at around $150, the Nintendo DS Lite with New Super Mario Brothers is a great and entertaining game and video game system that will bring fun and wonderful joy hours on end for anyone who is looking for a new video game system for their favorite gamer, or anyone who is a hard core Nintendo fan.

Thank You Amazon.5
I had fully planned on ordering from another retailer online this morning (Black Friday), but when I hopped online at 4am their website was DOWN FOR MAINTENANCE! How convenient! But it all works out because Amazon price is CHEAPER (by over $5) AND it ships free AND no sales tax. I ordered one Mario Bundle and One Brain Age Bundle. Thank you Amazon, Santa is VERY happy!

a good little system5
Being a gamer for 20 years, I've seen my share fair of systems come and go. Although I was skeptical of the DS at first, seeing it as a gimmicky handheld with nothing new to offer (aside from that stylus functionality), I grew quite fond of it after my friend's constant nagging to get me to try it.

Games like Brain Age give you something different, but the best part for me is the abundance of awesome 2D games. The Castlevanias, Contra 4, Sonic Rush, Megaman ZX, and more are part of the grand renaissance of old school games (along with all the offerings on Xbox Live Arcade and the other consoles).

Of course, if you're looking for some quirky games taking advantage of the stylus and whatnot, they got you covered, too. WiFi multiplayer and Game Boy Advance backwards compatability are just icing on the cake.

I put off buying it for awhile, since I'm pretty happy with my PSP, but I couldn't pass up this bundle. One, it comes with New Super Mario Bros., an excellent side scroller that you can play again and again (though it's no Super Mario World, in my opinion). Two, Amazon sold it at a lower price than certain retailers, with Free shipping and no tax, and it shipped out a few hours after I bought it! So no Black Friday madness for me (this came out on the 11/28/08, the day after Thanksgiving...)

And the Mario design doesn't hurt things at all ; )

So overall, good system, even better bundle.

Wii Rock Band Special Edition

Wii Rock Band Special Edition

We are interested in the Lastest model of Wii Rock Band Special Edition You can see Now!

Awesome game, very addictive4
The game is absolutely sensational; its main drawback is that it is so addictive you might end up spending too much time playing it.

The only thing I would have liked (and the reason for which I gave it 4 stars) is a better choice of songs --- I know copyright issues were probably important here, but there are so many songs that are much more popular than many of the included ones. This is partially solved by the extension packs (or the soon-to-be-released Rock Band 2, which is a different game but is compatible with Rock Band 1 hardware), but even on those the song selection is not better, it's just that you have more to choose from.

rockband rocks!5
rockband is even better then guitar hero because you can be the drummer, the singer,or the gutarist, plus it has awesome songs!I recomend this game for anyone who wants to have a blast!Gutar Hero fans, try this and you will definetely agree with me.

Buy for Xbox 360 or Play Station instead.3
Rock Band for Wii overall is a fun game, but if you also own one of the other consoles this game comes out on, I would recommend getting it for that system. It's not that the one for Wii isn't fun, but it doesn't include some things that the other console releases have. Here are some of the pros and cons.

PROS:
*Rock Band has a great variety of songs
*It has four instruments, allowing for the whole family to play.
*It has a great variety of old and newer songs, so some older people might enjoy the selection.
*The guitar is wireless, giving you more room to "rock"
*The instruments are very durable
*The guitar's strumming bar is smoother and makes much less noise than the Guitar Hero guitar.

CONS:
*The game is very hard to calibrate with your TV, so the picture is usually very delayed which can be very annoying
*The tour (campaign) mode is very dull, unlike the other console releases where you choose your venue and tour the world.
*You cannot buy guitars, songs, characters, costumes, or anything else in this game. There is not even a Guitar Shop, nor do you earn money in Tour mode (unlike the Xbox 360 and Playstation versions).
*You cannot change your guitars or characters, and you cannot change between different venues in any modes (unlike the Xbox 360 and Playstation versions).
*The drum set is very loud and annoying, causing it to drown out the music (can be changed if you buy the drum dampers which apparently make the drums softer when you hit them).
*You cannot download songs online, unlike the other releases.

Overall, Rock Band for Wii is recommended if you don't own an Xbox 360 or Playstation, but if you do, I would recommend not buying the Wii version.

The Wii Remote Controller - wireless technology at its best5
I love my Wii remote controllers. I have three of them. The first two came with my Wii, and the third came with my Wii Play.

As far as batteries are concerned, rechargeable batteries are good. The charge station from Nyko is better.

Have a look at the photo of the product on this page. See the clear plastic case the remote is in? That's known as a remote jacket. You can order those, as well as replacement straps, on the nintendo website. Both can be had for free.

On a whole, the Wii remote controller outranks the controllers from Nintendo Entertainment System and Super Nintendo Entertainment System many times over.

Product Description

To make gaming as accessible to people of all ages and all abilities, Nintendo wanted to create a controller that was as inviting as it was sophisticated. The outcome is the Wii Remote. Nintendo fused the familiarity of a remote control with the sophistication of motion-sensing technology to come up with an input device for the ages!Sporting the size of a traditional remote control, the wireless Wii Remote is a multifunctional device that is limited only by the game designer's imagination. In a tennis game, it serves as your racket you swing with your arm. In a driving game, it serves as your steering wheel. For first-person shooters, the Wii Remote acts as your weapon that you point at an enemy. The list of potential uses goes on and on.In addition to its pointing and motion-sensing abilities, the Wii Remote also includes a speaker, rumble feature and expansion port for additional input devices, such as the Nunchuk.
